Whitepaper

Bitcoin Incognito (XBI) is a cryptocurrency that takes Satoshi Nakamoto’s original vision for Bitcoin and adds to the concept in a way that makes it both more environmentally conscious and private for its users. Bitcoin Incognito being Proof-of-Stake with Masternodes means that users are able to mint coins without using any more energy than a personal computer. Masternodes also make for fast, secure transactions and are inherently resistant to 51% attacks. Bitcoin incognito uses zerocoin protocol to ensure that users will not be subjected to privacy invading analytics.

XBI COIN

Fair Launch

Bitcoin Incognito was distributed through a 1:1 XBI:BTC Airdrop on all exchanges who listed us followed by a Proof-of-Work phase for the first 5000 blocks.

Energy Saving

XBI uses a consensus mechanism to ensure the integrity of its BlockChain, instead of using an expensive proof of work algorithm to distribute the block reward to miners based on a winner per block, it uses Proof of Stake to reward the community for both staking coins and running Masternodes.

SwiftTX

Instant Transactions: SwiftTX transactions are confirmed and spendable within seconds, guaranteed by the network of masternodes, with no need to wait for multiple confirmations in order to be confident in the validity of the transaction.

Zerocoin

Zerocoin provides full privacy to the users of XBI. The implementation of the Zerocoin protocol converts publicly viewable XBI into anonymous zXBI. When a user wishes to spend zXBI, the XBI appear in the receivers wallet as regular XBI without history of where that XBI originated from providing real time incognito transactions.

Masternodes

Receive XBI rewards based on their availability and their ability to offer network services in a decentralized and trustless manner.

Open Source

Bitcoin Incognito's entire codebase is publicly available for viewing and verification by anyone. It will always remain open source and be maintained by an ever growing community.

Community Driven

In the nature of transparency and open source, Bitcoin Incognito is developed for the community and by the community.

Low Fees

Extremely low fees, with an average transaction fee of less than a few cents.

ROADMAP

Q4 2018

White Paper 2.0

Our current white paper will be updated with our improvements and new goals for the project as well as additional papers for our Decentralized Network platform and additional application.

Coin Burn

We will be updating and creating a proper coin burn method that will not only hard lock down the banned development funds from the former “BTCi” team as it already does now, but they will also be deducted from being included in the explorer statistics, correcting the data of the coin and reduce the inflation of circulating supply.

New Exchanges into 2019

We will be added onto 3+ New Exchanges by the end of the Q4 period and will continue to expand onto new exchanges throughout the whole 2019 period. Stay tuned to announcements of new exchanges in our official pages and social outlets.

Mobile App and Web Wallet

We will be launching first party Mobile and Web Wallet platforms for XBI that will also include features to set up and monitor your masternodes. Full control of your incognito assets on any platform.

Q1 2019

Decentralized Network

What will define Bitcoin Incognito, our decentralized network will bring a Tor-Like hidden network platform that will route content and crypto applications through an obscured encrypted web, maintained by our masternodes.

Transaction Anonymizer

Within our decentralized network, we will have our Bitcoin Transaction Anonymizer, which will bring the power of Incognito to obscure BTC and other coin transactions and provide non-privacy coins the same protections of XBI.

Governance

We will be implementing an incognito governance system by end of Q1 that will be accessible from all platforms including mobile app and web applications.

Q2 2019

Zero Coin Upgrade

PIVX has introudced an upgraded version of the Zerocoin protocol that is not only technically improved, but comes with an auto minting feature that can set a particular percentage of your staking or masternode rewards to automatically mint into zerocoin (zXBI) units for untracable transaction. We will be retrofiting the upgrade into XBI’s code in Q2.

One-Click Masternodes Solutions

Bitcoin Incognito will be looking into providing its own first party One-Click Masternode Solution within our platform that can also be accessed via the Mobile and Web Wallets for easy set up no matter where you are in the world. This feature will extend into shared masternode services sometime after launch.

Fiat Pay

We will be working with institutions and partners to provide a service to exchange directly between XBI and fiat currencies in the later part of Q2.

E-Commerce Payment Platform

When we say transaction with anonymity, we mean it. We will be working with developers and merchant partners to provide an XBI Pay service to buy goods and services directly with XBI and have all the protection and security that no one will track your monetary activity.

UPCOMING

Masternode requirements

If you would like to run a Bitcoin Incognito masternode then you will need to do the following:

  • Acquire at least 3,000 XBI (to do so, check the exchanges)
  • Access to a VPS or PC that will run constantly 24/7 (as described in our guide)
  • Complete one of the following configuration guides

MASTERNODES

Owning and running a Bitcoin Incognito Masternode is a way that you can support the XBI network through mining.
Masternodes are commonly Virtual Private Servers (VPS) that store a copy of the Bitcoin Incognito blockchain. They support the network’s decentralised nature and help to confirm transactions quickly.
As a result, masternodes receive rewards in the form of XBI for playing their part in supporting the network.

The XBI team is planning to launch a one-click masternode setup. Details will be announced soon!

Staking

In the Bitcoin Incognito network, staking coins and running a masternode are closely related. Staking differs subtly from masternode rewards, in that, a person can mine or validate block transactions according to how many coins one owns/holds in their wallet. This means that the more XBI coins owned, the more mining power a person has.

FAQ

Q: How do I stake?

A: Please look in your wallet, and check if staking-arrow (lower right corner) is green. If not, then go to “/User/Appdata/XBI/xbi.conf” file and open it. It will probably be empty. Type : staking=1 and save the configuration file. Close wallet and reopen it again. Wait for it to be fully synched. Within approx. 1 minute the arrow will turn from grey to green.
Congratulate yourself and celebrate this event preferably with a beer or a wine (if 21+). You are staking so let the coins come to the master!

Q: How do I setup a masternode?

A: Follow the official guides. You can find them over our XBI discord group (under guides) or check below for the official guides.

Official XBI Masternode Guide: https://github.com/sub307/Bitcoin_Incognito/

Q: I am staking (the arrow down below at the right= green) . How long does it take before I get my staking-rewards?

A: This depends on how many coins you are staking and there is also a luckfactor involved. You can adjust your staking under coincontrol (send-tab in wallet) and under changing splitttreshold (see wallet under Tools- debug console, and type: ‘ help’)

Q: I set up my masternode. How long does it take before I get my first rewards?

A: You will recieve MN-rewards after approx. 48-60 hours after a successful setup. A successful setup can be checked over your SSH connection to VPS (for example Bitvise or Putty. Just type : xbi -cli masternode status.
If you get a “status 4” your masternode was installed correctly.
Congratulate yourself and celebrate this event preferably with a beer or a wine (if 21+). You will get your XBI Masternode rewards within the next 60 hours, so let the coins come to the master!

Q: How do I fix a Masternode that has stopped synching?

1. Login into the MN using Bitvise or your preferred SSH tool/terminal and type the following:
systemctl stop XBI.service

2. Then at the command line type:
xbid -reindex

3. Wait 15 minutes, if the reindex doesn’t report that it is finished, break out of it using:
Ctrl - C

(At this stage it may also help to add some MN addresses to the xbi.conf file on the MN)

4. To restart the XBI service type:
systemctl start XBI.service
